Sabbath Announcements
Three things before we go any further, and every one of them involves you. (pause)
If God has been pulling you deeper into ministry, there's a place for you to be sharpened and refreshed among our own. The House of God National Ministers' Conference is October 23rd and 24th in Lexington, Kentucky. Visit the House of God website this week to get the details and make your plans.
While you've got your calendar out, mark one more date. (smile) October 31st is a 5th Sabbath, and those are always a special time for this house. The venue and program are still being finalized, so write it down today and keep that day open for the Lord.
And finally, our prayer focus this week is Deacon Lyle Henderson. (pause) Deacon Henderson has served this church faithfully, and this week we get to stand with him. Pray for him by name every day this week, and reach out with a word of encouragement so he knows his church family is behind him.
Now, let's come before the Lord together.
